Garfish Manly
Located on Sydney’s beautiful harbour, Garfish Manly was well overdue for a make over to bring it up to date. We wanted to lighten the palette and bring a sense of an airy resort to the interiors. A full height garden wall with brass signage was positioned at the entrance, handmade rustic Italian tiles clad the existing bar and white plank tiles refinish the columns with brass wall lights. This is what the client said about working with us:
“After 10 years in business Garfish Restaurant Manly had become a local dining institution. Although still a very busy restaurant we were looking to refresh our identity and integrate a new bar aspect with our existing restaurant. We engaged Alex and her team to create our new look. The brief was to bring our restaurant in line with modern trends and create a sophisticated cocktail centric bar with a specific demographic in mind. Alex Morris had a clear vision of how to turn our slightly dated interior into a totally fresh and on trend space. A thoroughly professional approach, with an eye for detail ensured the process was relatively effortless. The ultimate success of the renovation was always going to be how well our patrons received the changes. We have experienced a significant increase in trade and an overwhelmingly positive response to the design. The renovations were completed on time over a very tight 10-day window. Impressive!
I can recommend with confidence to any hospitality business the services of Alex and her team.” Mark Dickey Owner
